Smoked wings with your choice of sauce and a side of Chesapeake fries have made this Front Royal brewpub on Main Street a legitimate food destination, not just a beer stop. The covered patio welcomes dogs, making it a natural post-hike landing spot for visitors coming off the Shenandoah trails. The beer selection skews local and varied, with gluten-free options on the menu and, apparently, a staff willing to mail a forgotten jacket back to Atlanta.

Let me start off by saying that we were so excited that they allow dogs here! We brought our pup with us for a hike and wanted to grab some snacks and a beer afterwards. This restaurant is located on Main Street and we saw a sign at the front saying they allow dogs on the patio area. 🫶🏽
My husband and I ordered 2 different beers, some wings and sweet potato fries. OMG, those smoked wings were phenomenal! The waitress let us order 2 different sauces to go on top so my husband and I both got to pick the flavors we wanted since we were sharing. The beers were so delicious and were exactly what we needed after a long hike. 10/10 for the food & beer
The waitress was so kind and attentive. She came over to check on us several times and always made sure we had what we needed. 10/10 for service
Paying the bill was a breeze! We were given a ticket with a QR code and were able to pay using Apple Pay! So convenient!!
We’re planning on going back to this restaurant next month when we go hiking again!

Unexpectedly good and diverse selection of food. We were the group of five with different eating preferences, and everyone felt happy about the lunch. What was the best? This became a subject of family debate. I personally voted for shrimps and green fried tomatoes. Plus decent selection of local beers. Dogs friendly.
