Saint Paul·Food

About

Tucked into Saint Paul along the Clinch River corridor, this Southwest Virginia brewpub turns heads with a food program serious enough to anchor a meal: slow-smoked brisket that shows up in sandwiches, appetizers with beer cheese, and housemade potato chips alongside wraps and Reubens. The beer lineup runs from an Irish Red to a Cherry Shandy and local-inspired names like Kings Mountain, poured beneath tanks large enough to stop first-time visitors mid-sentence.

This is a fantastic brewery. The food is amazing and the best we’ve found in a Virginia brewery. We had the chips with beer cheese and brisket appetizer, chicken wings, the brisket sandwich, salad with grilled chicken, French dip and the Reuben sandwiches. It was all very good. The brisket was very tender and flavorful. The beer was also great. We had the Irish Red and Cherry Shandy, and both were excellent. The service was wonderful and our server very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Stopped in here before going for a kayak trip down the Clinch. I had the chicken, bacon, and cheese ranch wrap and my husband had the brisket boody sandwich. Both had homemade potato chips. Our meals were awesome. The service was great as well.
