Stopped by this weekend with my brothers and really enjoyed the beer and the atmosphere. We hung around and played a few board games and shared a few well-brewed beers. My personal favorite was their flagship Chapter 2 IPA! I definitely would recommend checking out this location if you love good local beer.

We only stopped in for a bit to try some beer, and ordered a flight that included the Orange Dream, Schilling Hard Cider, Vienna Lager, and Pilsner. We learned the Orange Dream is made in house with a puree, resulting in a fruit beer both fragrant and delicious (and one of the best I’ve ever had). The owner and brewer Mark is a nice guy, and the bartender was also super friendly. The place is a bit empty inside but overlooks the North Fork Shenandoah River in the back, which features a whole outdoor area (great for kids). Definitely worth checking out, if not for the beer alone!
